TAQUITA M. HOGAN-CLAIBORNE

Attorney TaQuita M. Hogan-Claiborne is founder and managing attorney of the Law Office of TaQuita M. Hogan-Claiborne (TMHC), located in Houston, Texas.

Her firm concentrates in the area of U.S. Immigration Law. At the Law Office of TMHC, more than 95% of our clients are referred to us by existing or past clients, or by other law firms that do not have an immigration practice area.

TaQuita's experience in the field of immigration and nationality law is broad, both in terms of clientele and practice areas.

Her clients have come from every continent and have included a full range, from multi-national corporations to start-up companies and individuals from all educational and cultural backgrounds.

Her experience includes over 10 years as Chief Legal Executive/Outside Counsel for several related companies located in California, Singapore, Malaysia, Netherlands, China, & Houston: Computer Systems Software; Electrical Engineering; Computer Systems Test Engineers, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Communications Engineering, etc.

TaQuita's experience includes business- and family-based immigration, citizenship, removal (formerly deportation), and waivers.

Whether you are a corporation, or an individual, she has been appraised for giving her clients the personal attention needed from the initial consultation to the successful conclusion of their case.

TaQuita is a graduate of the University of Houston in Political Science, Pre-Law and Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She began her legal career with the Court of Appeals - First District as a Law Clerk Intern prior to becoming an Attorney.

Shortly upon graduation from law school, she became a Legal Associate at ABU Sports and Entertainment Group where she presently continues here affiliation on a part-time basis.

She has also served with the Alliance for Multicultural as a volunteer Immigration Attorney, as well as other immigration organizations such as Somali Bantu Community of Greater Houston and Catholic Charities. Currently, she serves as a Community Service Volunteer

Attorney and sits on the advisory board for the Fort Bend Lawyers Care as well as the American Bar Association Advisory Panel.

 Currently, she also serves as a Faculty Instructor in Legal Studies for Wharton County Junior College.

She has also served as Wills, Probate, & Estate Planning Attorney - one of five (5) selected participating local law offices in Houston, TX, to serve as Community Service Wills Campaign Attorneys for the following entities Texas Children's Hospital, University of St. Thomas, American Heart Association - offering members of the public aged 55 and over the opportunity to have their simple Wills written or updated free of charge.

As an Instructor, she has had excellent opportunities to teach a variety of courses, including Real Property, Immigration Law, Contracts Law, Wills and Probate, Legal Research, Legal Writing, Business Law, Criminal Law, Civil Litigation, including online legal courses and other such legal subjects.

 RITA PATTNI

Rita Pattni is a Texas-Licensed attorney who is an accomplished and highly motivated professional with diverse, international background. Experienced in: Real Estate, Immigration Law, Wills, Probate, Guardianship, Civil Litigation, Landlord Tenant law.


She has a proven track record in effectively interacting with groups from diverse cultural backgrounds and an international perspective.

She is also proficient in extensive legal research, and legal writing skills; experienced in drafting petitions, memoranda, discovery documents, conduct client interviews and represent clients in court, as well as, strong organizational and management skills, an entrepreneurial drive and dedication to the highest professional work product. Also, she is multi-lingual in 4 languages.


Rita is a graduate of the University of Houston, Victoria, Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science (B.A.A.S), Business/Legal, Summa Cum Laude and Wharton County Junior College, Associate's Degree, Major in Paralegal Studies. She is a graduate of Texas Southern University—Thurgood Marshall School of Law.


She began her legal career as a Legal Assistant at a local immigration law firm.


She has also served with the Department of Housing and Urban Development as Legal Intern Attorney. Currently, she serves Lone Star Legal Aid as a Intern Attorney- Housing and Consumer Unit and she is an active member of American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association and the Fort Bend Bar Association.
